About Soccer Dreams Inc.
Our story began organically in 2014 with a simple Facebook group. What started as a casual platform for friends to share information about local street soccer games quickly evolved into a small, passionate soccer community right here in Boston. It was all about the love of the game, pick-up matches, and connecting with friends on pitches of the city. This young beginning laid the foundation for what Boston Street Futbol Club is today: a hub for soccer lovers dedicated to enhancing skill, community, and the game.
From those early days until 2021, Boston Street Soccer became popular and well known for its weekly pick-up games hosted at some of the most iconic soccer spots in the area. Whether indoors at Danvers Indoor Sports or Teamworks Revere, or outdoors at Lo Presti Park in East Boston, Rivergreen Park in Everett, and countless fields across Greater Boston, the community kept growing. These gatherings weren’t just games—they were opportunities to build friendships, sharpen skills, play organized pick-up soccer and celebrate the universal language of soccer.

These gatherings weren’t just games—they were opportunities to build friendships, sharpen skills, play organized pick-up soccer and celebrate the universal language of soccer.
Then in 2018, after already reaching 10,000+ soccer players, our aspirations grew. By combing the strengths of the players in the pick-up games, the first 11v11 Boston Street Soccer team was created. With immediate success in leagues like the Boston Ski and Sports Club (BSSC) and other recreation leagues, it eventually led us to want to be in a more professional environment.
This natural progression led us to be recognized and sponsored by the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) to participate in the 4th Division of United States Soccer in Spring of 2022. Joining the UPSL marked an exciting new chapter for Boston Street Soccer, providing a platform for more competitive play and further development players and our organization. Coach Wiwi and Coach Ibarra were the inaugural coaches of Boston Street Soccer and help lead the team into it's first every semi-final. In the following season, Coach Yepes joined the coaching staff and continued to push for a even more competitive team, later on led to a UPSL New England Championship in Spring of 2023. Since then, Boston Street Soccer rebranded to what is now know as Boston Street Futbol Club, with the same mission.
Our time in the UPSL has been instrumental in shaping our identity, challenging us to grow both on and off the field, and connecting us with a wider network of dedicated soccer clubs and individuals. We are proud of our journey from a humble Facebook group to a competitive presence in the UPSL, always staying true to our core values of passion, community, and the spirit of street soccer. The story of Omaha Street FC is directly connected to the journey of Boston Street FC. Our leadership team saw an opportunity to bring the same passion and culture of street soccer to the Midwest.
In 2025, with the vision of expanding this movement, Omaha Street FC was founded. The mission was simple: create a platform in Omaha where players of all backgrounds could experience the joy of the game, find community, and compete at a higher level. Just like in Boston, the project began with connecting with others passionate about the sport and impact. These gatherings quickly drew players from all walks of life, proving that the hunger for the game was just as strong in Omaha as it was on the streets of Boston.
From these beginnings, Omaha Street FC grew into something bigger. Entering the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) gave our players the chance to showcase their talent on a national stage while still holding true to our values. In OSFC's first season in the UPSL IA/NE/SD conference, they were champions with a victory over Worthington, Minnesota.
Today, Boston/Omaha Street FC stands as a bridge between community soccer and competitive play, offering opportunities for growth both on and off the pitch. What started as a simple idea—bringing the energy of street soccer to the cities—has now become a thriving club that embodies inclusivity, ambition, and the love of the game.
